Hello our fellow Youcus friends and associates, in celebration of Easter I decided to share this small write up. Happy belated Easter everyone!!! Be blessed as you read.
The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing the plunder. For as in the day of Midian’s defeat, you have shattered the yoke that burdens them, the bar across their shoulders, and the rod of their oppressor. Isaiah 9:2-4 NIV
The love of the Father made Him willingly give His Son Jesus, to come on earth, live among us, and suffer for sins He did not commit, to make him sin yet without sin. When we understand the weight of our sins and the weight of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us then only can we celebrate earnestly what God has done and did for us through Jesus Christ our Savior. A Holy God could not and cannot be associated with sin; hence we were set for, in queue, in expectation and awaiting God’s wrath. As the Bible says sin was even an inheritance from our ancestors and one born by a woman is with sin. But God! When times reached their fulfilment, Christ came and died for us. And so, we stand seeing the light, the shackles, and the yoke that once burdened us have all been shattered. We shout we are the children, redeemed, holy priesthood, and the righteousness of God through Christ. Now we rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God all because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us.
For without the shedding of blood, there was no forgiveness of sin but today together with David we say,
“Blessed are we whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.”
“Blessed are we whose sin the LORD does not count against us.”
